Latest Projects
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has many ongoing eminent domain, condemnation, and inverse condemnation projects, including:
U.S. 70 Corridor: connecting Raleigh, Smithfield, Goldsboro, Kinston, Havelock and the Port of Morehead City.
U.S. 70 Goldsboro bypass: upgrades to portions in Wayne and Johnston Counties.
U.S. 17 Extension: extending Carolina Bays Parkway through Brunswick County.
U.S. 117 Corridor: upgrades in Sampson, Duplin and Wayne Counties.
Kinston bypass: bypass through La Grange in Lenoir County to the Dover area (on the Jones-Craven county line).
Independence Boulevard Extension: extending Independence Blvd in Wilmington near the Covil/Montgomery Avenue corridor from Randall Parkway to MLK Parkway.
Gordon Road Widening: widening from Interstate 40 to Market Street in Wilmington.
