Collaborative Law Can Help Your Family

Collaborative Divorce is an alternative dispute resolution process that allows you to settle divorce and family law matters outside of court.

There are many aspects to divorce that are not addressed by the court system that can be addressed through collaborative law, such as addressing emotional and financial needs in a better manner.

A collaborative approach allows you and the other party to jointly select a trained and educated team to help you through the process.  You will still have your own attorney to help you answer legal questions, but you and the other party have control over the conference topics and the speed at which you address specific issues such as child custody, child support, spousal support, and asset and debt division.

Melissa Gott with The Law Group has attended extensive training and handles collaborative and mediation matters in New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick Counties, North Carolina.  Contact us today 910-251-6088 Collaborative@LawGroupNC.com
