Improvements for Market Street between Middle Sound Loop Road and Marsh Oaks Drive

NCDOT recently announced plans to begin construction on Market Street (U.S. 17) between Middle Sound Loop Road and Marsh Oaks Drive.  When completed, this project will widen the existing road, install new stoplights, and construct a raised concrete median in the middle of the road.  The Department had already acquired the new Right of Way and Easements needed for construction either through early settlement with land owners or filing condemnation lawsuits.  If you are a landowner and a condemnation action has been filed, you only have a limited time to file an answer and contest the amount of money the State has deposited for your property taken for road construction.  Please contact The Law Group to speak with an experienced condemnation attorney about your rights.  910-251-6088  See a recent article at https://www.wwaytv3.com/2019/02/27/crews-to-start-widening-project-on-market-street-this-spring/
